As part of earning our black belts through Mastery Martial Arts, one of the numerous requirements is completing a community project. Our family enjoys combining our love of history, our respect for veterans, and all those who forged the way to build our community, as well as our love of the outdoors. We chose to do one cleanup project in a historic cemetery in North Smithfield, where our studio is located, and one in Woonsocket, where we reside. Together, we researched the history of the cemetery, some of the people buried there, as well as the history of the Globe area. It's a wonderful learning experience for the kids, and it's a great bonding experience to do these things together as a family.
